Blackfriars Bar and Hotel

This was a full refurbishment of the category-B listed, 18th century building in Inverness City Centre. We restored the outside of the building to a high standard, removing render to reveal the original stonework and reinstating the traditional sash and case windows.

The ground floor underwent extensive works, extension to the kitchen with full commercial joinery, and replacement of the toilets. We gave the pub and dining area a striking, contemporary brasserie feel with stripped floors, exposed brick work and vibrant colours. With a huge development in the offer from Blackfriars, we added nine boutique en-suite letting rooms, all finished to high specification and their own individual décor.
